Salicornia perennans is an annual succulent herb of sparsely vegetated sandy or silty depressions in low seashore meadows. FinBIF describes it as an obligate saltland plant of neutral chloride soils and places northern Baltic material in a taxonomically difficult diploid complex; the 2024 study name Salicornia europaea is therefore retained alongside the accepted FinBIF match.

13 occupied plots have a positive numeric cover value available for occupied-plot cover summaries.
Both traits passed the documented minimum of five measurements. Their species medians can be weighted by relative cover when constructing plot-level community-weighted means.
Plot-level ecological responses are paired with UAV predictors. A fitted model can estimate variation in those responses across the landscape; this record does not train a classifier for Salicornia perennans.
