General ecology
Fragaria viridis is a stoloniferous perennial herb of dry meadows, banks and dry slopes, with a preference for calcareous substrates. FinBIF places its wider range from central and eastern Europe to Central Asia, reaching southern Fennoscandia and the Caucasus.
